If you want to be more financially sound after retirement, you should set up an individual provident fund scheme as soon as possible in order to start saving up for your future needs. Below are the details to join:

• Applicant shall submit the Establishment Contract and Service Agreement, Individual Account Application Form, Direct Debit Agreement, FSS dedicated forms, ID card copy and copy of bankbook/monthly statement of the designated bank account (if applicable) to the fund management entity. (The “Designated Bank” refers to Bank of China, Tai Fung Bank and "OCBC" MACAU.

• The FSS will approve the application within 60 days from the date of receipt of all required documents, and issue the notice of approval to the account owner;

• The individual provident fund scheme will come into effect on the first day of the following month after the approval from the FSS is granted.

• The contributions will be debited directly from your designated bank account on a specified contribution day monthly. Or you may pay the contribution to the fund management entity in person.

• Please ensure that there is sufficient fund in your designated bank account one business day prior to the contribution day to prevent any failure in the debit process.
